Israel's ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip have turned into a total civilian extermination attempt that ignores international law and the conscience of humanity. Systematic attacks carried out without mentioning women, children and the elderly, targeting hospitals, schools and civilian infrastructures have turned Gaza into a mass grave. This atrocity is clearly not a ”conflict", but an organized crime aimed at destroying a people, a genocide.

As the Liberal Party, we consider human life and freedom sacred, no matter in which geography they are. What is happening in Gaza is not just a regional crisis, but a grave attack on the common values ​​of humanity. 

Therefore: We condemn Israel's military attacks on civilians in Gaza in the strongest terms. We call on the International Criminal Court to immediately launch an investigation into those responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

We demand that the embargo and blockade against the people of Gaza be lifted and urgent, unhindered and continuous humanitarian aid corridors be established. We invite the United Nations and all relevant international organizations to take effective, deterrent and concrete steps without becoming more bystanders to this human tragedy.
